Satellite options can be available for the consumer as long as the property owner allows for installation of a dish. Since local network channels have the same channel number across the country, these channel numbers must also be reserved with the satellite TV option.
Internet is also an option, however, the satellite provider must be realistic with the upload and download speeds. Also, they must inform the customer of latency which is the time it takes for a request to reach the destination. In cases such as VOIP, latency is an important factor.
With KaTel rolling out a national LTE and 5G network, there will likely be no need for the satellite provider to offer telephone services. The only instance this might be an issue is faxing, but if that was the case, the customer might be better off purchasing a 5G router from KaTel.
